Summerville is a small town that offers a variety of outdoor activities and cultural events.

Biking, fishing, shopping, golfing, hiking, kayaking, walking/jogging paths, museums, art galleries, theatre, orchestra and sculpture scattered throughout the town.

Our farmers market offers fresh local produce, meats, seafood and baked goods every Saturday 8 am - 1pm, April through November. The farmers market is within walking distance.

The third Thursday of each month the shops in Historic Downtown Summerville stay open late and have lots of family fun events.

Walking distance from Azalea Park and public tennis courts.

We have 5 golf courses within 20 minutes;

There are three beaches; Folly Beach, Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms that are within 30-35 miles, approximately a 45 minute drive (if not traveling during rush hour).

Middleton Plantation and Magnolia Plantation are within a 20 minute drive, less than 15 miles.

Irvin House Vineyards, famous for their Muscadine Wine is a mere 38 miles, approximately an hour away.

The Audubon Center and Sanctuary at the Francis Beidler Forest is 21 miles (approx 30 minute drive) from The Guest House.
